Terms and Conditions

1. CLASSES

The following terms and conditions are valid for all classes organized by Teuta.

Registration

Students are only fully enrolled after complete payment of the class fee. After sending the subscription form they will receive an email confirming enrollment, including payment details. If a student doesn’t pay within the agreed time stated in the email, his/ her spot can be given to someone else on the waiting list.

Cancellation

If a student cancels his/ her enrollment 10 or more days before the session starts the class fee will be refunded with a deduction of €5 administration fee. If the cancellation is less than 10 days before the session starts, then no refunds can be given. The student can however, after consulting Teuta, have someone else take his/ her place. Finding the substitute is a responsibility of the student.

Transferring class payments to another session is not possible.

Exception: Students who miss at least 3 classes of a class series, because of severe and unexpected medical reasons, can get a refund in the form of a class credit voucher. The vouchers worth is 75% of the amount payed for the missed classes, starting from the day Teuta is informed. This voucher can be used for any of Teuta’s class series that take place within 1 year after the absence of student.

This applies only if the following conditions are met:

  • The student informs Teuta about his/ her absence within 2 weeks after his/ her absence
  • The student delivers a valid medical certificate or doctor’s note.

Teuta reserves the right to cancel a class session should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness/unavailability. If this occurs the class session will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a class session is cancelled then this part will be refunded.

Missing Classes

There is no refund in case classes that are paid for are missed. In case a student misses a class, (s)he can, after consulting Teuta, make up for the class in one of the other groups that are parallel with the class they are in. Classes that have been missed during a semester can only be made up for in the same semester.

Photo and video release

Photographs and/or videos may be taken during classes. These photographs and videos may be used by Teuta for promotional, educational, and informational purposes including, but not limited to, social media, brochures, websites, newsletters, photo publications, and press without compensation. These photographs and/or videos are the sole intellectual property of Teuta and the photographer.

Liability

Teuta does not offer insurance for student property that is lost, stolen or damaged. All items, including electronics, are brought to the studio at the item owner’s own risk. Students are allowed to take their valuable items with them into the class room during class.

Any damages to the studio grounds and interior of the studio are to be paid by the party causing the damage.

Participating in classes is at own risk. As a student you declare to be in good health and to understand that the organizers and teacher are not responsible for any accidents or injuries incurred during class time. If you have specific pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. injuries, illness) or in case of pregnancy, please seek the advice of your doctor beforehand and make sure to inform the teacher of your condition(s).

Privacy statement
The data collected by Teuta (eg. through the enrollment and contact form) are for internal use only and will not be shared with external/third parties.

2. WORKSHOPS

The following terms and conditions are valid for all workshops organized by Teuta.

Registration

Dancers are only fully enrolled after complete payment of the workshop fee. After sending the subscription form they will receive an email confirming enrollment, including payment details. If a dancer doesn’t pay within the agreed time stated in the email, his/ her spot can be given to someone else.

Cancellation

Workshop registration is binding. There are no refunds.

Exception: For dancers who miss a workshop because of severe and unexpected medical reasons. The remaining workshop fee (starting from the moment Teuta is informed) can be refunded with a deduction of €10 administration fee.

This applies only if the following conditions are met:

  • Dancer informs Teuta about his/ her absence within 1 day in case of a workshop.
  • Dancer delivers a valid medical certificate or doctor’s note.

In all other cases there are no refunds. The dancer can however, after consulting Teuta, have someone else take his/ her place. Finding the substitute is a responsibility of the dancer.

Transferring workshop payments to another session is not possible.

Teuta reserves the right to cancel a workshop should there be insufficient enrollments or in case of illness/unavailability of the workshop instructor. If this occurs the workshop fee will be refunded to the participant in full, but no additional damages are paid to participants. In case only part of a workshop series is cancelled then this part will be refunded.

Payment

We accept payments via Bank Transfer.

Any fees such as International Bank Transfer fees will need to be covered by the participant.
